An assignment for high-school art class. This apocalyptic scene represents a hopeless outlook on US politics. The woman is intentionally dressed in red, white, and blue. The burning buildings and rubble are made from newspaper clippings of distressing news stories.

The original artwork has been lost. The only record I have of it now is a single low-quality photo, which I’ve done my best to enhance.
