About Art Commissions
I take commissions for custom art pieces!
I create physical art (not digital) using colored pencils, markers, and/or pens on a large paper canvas, typically either 28"x22" or 22"x14".
I have been an artist my entire life, and I have completed several years of formal art education at a high-school and college level. I am experienced with many styles, subjects, and mediums. My personal preference leans towards surreal, colorful, and imaginative styles. I believe that art is the most universal form of communication, it is essential for human well-being, and it has the ability to convey emotions and stories that transcend words.
For commissions, I can create almost anything you like, such as:
Portraits of people, pets, or OCs
Realistic or stylized recreations of photos
Landscapes, realistic or surreal
Cartoon/anime styles
Abstract art
NSFW/adult-themed (for an additional fee)

Commission Process
You contact me to express your interest. I respond in a timely manner to tell you if I’m available to take a commission.
We have a conversation to discuss the details of your commission. You tell me what you want, and I tell you what I can do. We agree on a price and timeline. We may communicate over phone, voice call, and/or text chat, whatever is comfortable for you.
If you’re willing to proceed, you pay me half of the cost up front.
I start work on your commission. As I work, I send you periodic progress updates. You may give feedback or additional requests, which I will accommodate if I reasonably can.
When I’m done, I show you the result, and if you’re satisfied, you pay me the second half of the cost.
I deliver the finished product to you in one of two ways:
(Option 1) I ship the original physical artwork directly to you for a flat shipping fee. The paper canvas will be carefully rolled into a tube and will not include a frame. I will also send you a high-quality digital scan of the artwork.
(Option 2) I take a high-quality digital scan of the artwork and send it to you as a downloadable image file. I keep the original artwork for my own portfolio. If you choose this option, in addition to not charging a shipping fee, I will also give you a discount for the commission itself.
You proudly display your commissioned art and use it as you see fit, making sure to tell everyone that I made it for you so I can get more commissions! :)
Professional Expectations
I take pride in my work and in my professionalism. I am a person of integrity who treats others with respect and expects to be treated with respect in turn. If you choose to work with me, I promise to be timely, honest, and professional, and I will expect the same from you. Please respect my time, my boundaries, my livelihood, and my personal dignity.
If for any reason I feel uncomfortable working with you, I may decide to drop your commission at any time with a full refund. However, if you are enjoyable to work with, then I will happily complete a commission for you, and may offer you discounts in the future!
Pricing
The price of a commission will vary based on several factors, including:
Complexity / Time requirement
Desired timeline (i.e. if you want it done sooner, I’ll charge more)
Degree of creative freedom (i.e. if you give me fewer constraints and allow me to make more artistic choices, I’ll charge less)
Skillset compatibility (i.e. if you want me to work in a style or medium that I’m less familiar with, I may charge more)
With these factors considered, the base price for a commission will typically range from $1000 - $1500.
The commission price compensates me for the time, effort, and materials I use to make the artwork itself, as well as my years of experience and investment in my personal growth as an artist — such as the time I spend practicing, and the money I spend on art training, workspace, tools, etc.
Additional Fees
On top of the commission price, additional fees apply for:
Shipping - $40 flat fee
NSFW / Adult-themed art - $200 flat fee
Discounts
The commission price will be discounted for:
No shipping (I keep the physical artwork for my own collection, and send you a high-quality digital scan instead.) - $100 discount
Returning client (If you’ve commissioned me before and are coming back to work with me again, I will show my appreciation!) - $200 discount
Full Creative Freedom (You give me a general direction or a simple prompt with few to no constraints, and I use my own artistic imagination to create an entirely original artwork tailored to your interests. I may or may not solicit your feedback as I work.) - $600 discount
